Episode Summary[]
A new kid on the block named Austin (Nathan Gamble) who Gabe is forced to become friends with develops a crush on Teddy. At first Teddy is uninterested and thinks he's just having a childhood crush but when he starts giving her romantic gifts such as flowers and candles, she becomes annoyed. Eventually she reluctantly agrees to go on a date with him to his cousin's 5th birthday party when he tries to charm with a loot (even saying he would come back with more instruments since his dad owns a music store). She uses the crush to her advantage to make Spencer jealous, who has already gotten a new girlfriend, which Teddy thinks he made up since she can't find the girl online. Meanwhile, P.J. and Emmett hold auditions for a third member to help get gigs. After going through several people, most of which don't match their style or are downright bad. Eventually they find Jimmy (Ryan Heinke) a bass player who has the beat but lacks the look for them. However, when Jimmy mentions his brother hosting a party and wants live music they accept him in. Unfortunately, during practice, a sick Charlie sneezes on Jimmy making him unable to make the gig so Bob temporarily fills in as a member of PJ and Emmett's band.
End Credits[]
Bob walks in the house and shows PJ his new bass. PJ tells him, "Dad, I thought we made it pretty clear. You being in the band was just a one-time thing. I'm sorry." Bob replies: "I'm not. I got my own band now." The auditionees that failed are in the band. When they start to rehearse, there is a drum solo. Bob looks and it's Charlie because when he said on three, she jumped ahead because she couldn't count to three yet.
